Ruin - the term for bankroll that's diminishing because of losses. Of course, no one would like their gambling money to go to ruins; that is why budgeting is a big part of anyone's gambling career.

Scam - a plot or a strategy to cheat or to trick a gambler or the house. In online roulette, be careful who you deal with. There have been reports of scams in online gambling, so do not trust easily.

Scared money - this is the money that a player is afraid to lose either because it is not his money, or it's just too big or he'll go bankrupt if he loses.

Section Shooter - the dealer or croupier who aims to hit particular numbers or parts of the roulette wheel. If he has bias for the house, stay away from this dealer. However, if you can befriend him and make him work in your favor, he can prove to be a valuable asset.

Section slicing - act of segregating the sections of the roulette wheel into categories of which have been winning, and which have not. This is done by roulette players to discover any bias, if the wheel has any, so that they will have a good basis for their next bet.

Session - the duration of playing at a casino or any gambling house. Some roulette players determine their session length by the amount of time spent, while others by the amount of wins and losses they will incur. Experts recommend that you determine your session length before you enter the casino for better control of your bankroll.
